PSYCHOTHERAPY
I am a fully qualified and experienced Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapist based in Perth, Scotland. I work with adults providing both short and long term therapy. I believe that a good, confidential therapeutic relationship can help us to recover our sense of self-worth, self-esteem and self-respect in order to connect with our true self.
I also believe that we hold all our answers within ourselves. At times it is difficult to access these answers. Often we don’t understand why we feel the way we do, why we think the way we do and behave the way we do. Psychotherapy can provide the opportunity to explore, make sense of and work through these difficult and painful processes to grow our own awareness through understanding and insight, to help alleviate emotional, mental and physical symptoms. This can help us to live life more authentically and joyfully. Over the years I have gained significant clinical experience working with a variety of presenting issues including bereavement, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, childhood sexual abuse, marriage and relationship work with individuals and couples, anger management, self-harm, suicide and addictions. I completed 5 years training in Transactional Analysis (TA) and have also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. My approach is integrative and relational and uses different therapeutic approaches from Transactional Analysis (TA) which incorporates elements of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Person Centred. |

COUNSELLING SUPERVISIONI am an intuitively led trained Supervisor. I offer Supervision to Counsellors and Student Counsellors working with individuals.
I use an integrative and holistic approach that includes the “Seven-eyed Model” sometimes called the Process Model and Transactional Analysis and over a decade’s worth of clinical experience. Supervision is a process of reflection, insight and support where I will help you to explore and reflect on your counselling work and relationship with clients, using metaphor, the body, intuition and the wider field. I believe that Supervision is a co-created relationship and meant to be a fun way to explore the possibilities in a safely held space. I offer online and in person Supervision in accordance with BACP ethical framework. |
