Julia Coulson Dip TA Counselling (COSCA), MBACP
I believe that a good therapeutic relationship can help us to recover our autonomy, spontaneity and sense of self worth. Over the years I have gained significant clinical experience working with a variety of presenting issues including bereavement, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, childhood sexual abuse, marriage and relationship work with individuals and couples, anger management, self-harm, suicide and addictions
I have completed 4 years training in Transactional Analysis (TA). My approach uses concepts from Transactional Analysis (TA) which incorporates elements of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Person Centred.
I hold a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling which is validated by COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland).
I am also an experienced and inspirational coach, working with clients from the public and private sectors, in areas such as Leadership Development to Team Management. These include business and organisations such as retail, education and entrepreneurial development. I work from a belief that people have all the abilities within themselves to move forward in their lives to achieve their goals. My role as a coach is to help people bring out the best in themselves.
